Brief
Trinity Set and Stage had the pleasure to work with IMG and Chang for their food and drinks stand at the Taste of London festival that took place in Regents Park, London, on the 19th to 23rd off June. The stand consisted of a main bar serving their beer, a food booth for the partnering companies to serve their delicious Thai food, and comfy chairs and tables for guests.

Our design process for this project took place over 5 months as we were communicating from London to Singapore and vice versa. The initial space that we had was 8m x 3m as we developed the designs the space changed to 23m x 10m which turned out to be one of the biggest stands at Taste of London.
Our brief from the client was that they very much liked the theme of ‘English Garden’ party. Which is why we designed tailor-made pergolas draped in ivy, and had simple yet elegant planters made to not only keep the garden party theme but also incorporate the logo and feeling of Chang beer by having palm trees at the centre of the planters.
For this particular job, we built 52 seats, 5 tables, 2 pergolas, 2 planters, a bar and outside walling and flooring all in our in-house workshop. All of the furniture was in keeping with the simple, clean design and the Chang colours of pure white and Chang emerald green.
We also brightened up the stand with Chang logos and graphics out of vinyls and foamex, which illustrated the link of Chang beer and their guest partner’s food, serving delicious Thai food from the food booth corner.
The food booth was fully functional equipped with deep fat fryer, a large freezer, food washing sink and a hand wash station. Working in the food booth, were 4 different restaurants, serving their appetising dish of the day to complement the tastes of Chang beer.
The festival itself ran for five days, each day having two sessions with an overall 50,000 visitors coming to taste some delicious Chang beer so next year, make sure you grab your ticket early!
