Adidas Lab

adidas trainingEngine Room approached us to build and implement a brand experience within the Adidas Lab, where Adidas showcased their products and designs from past to present and also its vision of the future of football. This included designing and building the curved walls, straight long walls, display cases, carpeting the set and constructing Perspex plinths throughout the exhibition.

The new technology they were showcasing was miCoach, an innovative new technology that not only will enhance the players but also the face of football. This included their brand new Smart Ball, which measures the power and strike point and the highly anticipated Adizero boot that weighs less than 100 grams and is the world’s lightest football boot.

We built a history tunnel for Adidas that displayed the evolution of football, showcasing prized football memorabilia such as the boots worn by Germany’s 1954 World Cup winning team, ‘the miracle of Bern’ and classic Adidas boots such as the 1994 Predator. Each item was enclosed within display cases throughout the tunnel and lit using shadow detail LED.

Trinity enjoyed working along side some of footballs legends, Zinedine Zidane and Michael Ballack, and also Adidas CEO Herbert Hainer. The Adidas Lab was in studio B1 within Victoria House, an amazing open plan area based in the heart of London. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this showcase and was thrilled with the outcome. Not only were the clients expectations achieved they were exceeded on every level.
